REMINDER !!

The BBQ in conjunction with MCC takes place this Saturday 8th August here at Longwood. Please bring your own meat and drinks.

The coals will be lit at 5.00 p.m. (immediately after the workparty) However there will be plenty of time for those who want to go home to wash and change.

The weather is looking fairly hopeful for the weekend so do come along and make it a good evening.

Longwood is hosting the BCN Explorer cruise on the 13^th August and we have great hopes that the kitchen refurbishment will be finished (or at least fit to use) by then. Longwood members are invited to meet up with the cruise on Saturday 15^th at Pelsall.

IMPORTANT – be aware!!

All members have just 30 days grace to ensure that their new licence is displayed on their boats. Any boat failing to comply will removed to the public moorings.

Have you sent a copy of your boat safety Certificate to either the Enforcement Officer/MembershipSecretary (Tony Little) or the Secretary (Gill Braund)?

It has been decided to abandon the Monday evening work parties this year in favour of Saturdays.

DON’T FORGET your commitment to do 20 work party hours per boat. If you want to know how you are doing, just ask Clerk of Works (Chrys Braund – nb Clara)
